This virtual continuing education course provides massage therapists with a clinical approach to treating clients with Lyme Disease and its co-infections. The program covers the pathophysiology of the disease, common symptoms, and critical contraindications for manual therapy. Participants will learn how to adapt pressure and techniques to accommodate the inflammatory nature of these conditions while ensuring client safety. Approved for 1 CEU by the NY and NCBTMB, this program requires participants to provide their email, phone number, and state massage license number upon registration for credit processing. With this special kit: Includes a tick removal tool, aromatherapy bug repellent and an 8 oz tea tree & lavender massage oil. *After completion a certificate will be emailed. For NY therapists: NCBTMB will send you a certificate in 6-8 weeks that will be used in the event of a NYS CEU audit.
