THE MISSION

Welcome! My name is Erica Keays, and I founded Bloom Mountain Aromatics LLC to empower fellow practitioners with a deeper understanding of therapeutic topicals and provide access to affordable, high-quality continuing education. With over 20 years of experience in the industry,

I design classes that are engaging, practical, and grounded in real-world applications. My mission is to educate, inspire, and dispel common myths and misinformation in the field. Bloom Mountain Aromatics LLC offers both in-person and virtual courses, all approved by the NCBTMB, NAHA, and New York State. I am proud to be an independent educator unaffiliated with multi-level marketing organizations and to provide a personal line of therapeutic-grade aromatherapy and massage products.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Erica Keays, Licensed Massage Therapist & Certified Aromatherapist & Herbalist

Erica Keays has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2004, beginning her journey at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany, New York. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to earn an Advanced Graduate Certificate from the Aromahead Institute in Syracuse, New York, in 2017, and she completed the Advanced Herbalism course through the Herbal Academy in 2019.

A passionate educator, Erica is a former massage therapy instructor and an active member of numerous esteemed professional organizations, including the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), the International Cupping Therapy Association, the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the Association of Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), and the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE).

As an accredited continuing education provider with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), NAHA, and AFMTE, Erica has dedicated herself to advancing the education and professional development of massage and aromatherapy practitioners. She also served as the Committee Chair for Continuing Education for the New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists (NYSSMMT) from 2020 to 2024. In 2025, she will join the massage therapy program at North Country Community College in Saranac Lake as an adjunct instructor.

In addition to leading Bloom Mountain Aromatics, Erica is the proud owner of The Spa Studio Adirondacks LLC, a serene day spa located in Queensbury, New York. She lives in the beautiful Adirondacks with her husband and son, where she draws inspiration from nature and her community.
