AUGUST IS HERE!

The yellowing of the foliage, the blood moon, and the waning days of summer mean August is here in full swing. This powerhouse month lacks the new summer excitement of June and the hot sizzle of July. August is a transition month as we slowly work towards Autumn, all while holding on to sweet summer. County Fairs, lemonade, sunflowers….some of my favorite things! August also happens to be my birthday month, and I remember as a child not liking my birthday because it signaled the end of summer, and school closing in. As an adult, I take a new approach. I am grateful for each year and love celebrating with those around me. This summer has been busy, but wonderful. I find the need for self-care pressing this time of year, and I always schedule a massage near Labor Day to bring a relaxing close to a busy summer. I hope you all get to enjoy some August, too, and take care of yourselves!
