This unique course offering takes a deep dive into the grief experience, and how therapeutic massage can support the process. The class includes a discussion on the stages of grief, the complexities behind PTSD, Trauma and Prolonged Grief. The class discusses the physical and emotional ramifications of grief and how massage therapy can safely and effectively support the client. There is also a discussion on an intro to hospice massage and self-care.
