Adanced Prenatal Massage is a 2 day, in-person course accredited for 16 CEUs by both NCBTMB and New York. The course will include both lecture and hands-on bodywork. The lesson includes a review of the anamical changes in pregnancy, prenatal pathologies, a review of the trimesters, contraindications and debunking prenatal massage myths. The lesson will also include a discussion of the fertility journey, birth trauma, pregnancy loss and postpartum. The demo will include positioning, draping, traditional pregnancy technique, additional technique review, communication and ethics, working with other natal providers, updating intake forms, and marketing.

Course includes: Work booklet and treatment guide, sample gift bag, and certificate of completion. The school provides the tables and bolsters, and Bloom will provide the pregnancy pillows).
You will need: 2 sets of massage sheets (top and bottom, 2 pillow cases and a headrest cover), blanket, topical of choice (some will also be available to you). Green Mountain Massage school does ask that students remove shoes, so please bring a pair of socks or slippers to wear. 
 
This course has a two-week cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 14 days of the class will not be eligible for a refund. In the event that the course is canceled or postponed, registrants will have the option to receive a full refund or register for a different class.
